Solihull Gallery is delighted to present its first exhibition of 2012.
Three of Birmingham's foremost realist painters - Howes, Colley, and Garland have produced this imaginative group show of contemporary painting in keeping with the traditions of Realism.
This collection of recent new works focus on segments of contemporary life in the region. The three artists differing practice is reflected in the paintings, ranging from vivid to dark and imposing.
Inspired by public spaces, local waterways and neighbourhood characters, the focus of the exhibition is to connect with the audience through familiarity and the relevance of subject.
