Over the past 22 years Reuben Colley has captured the ever evolving Urban Landscapes of cities across the world, mainly concentrating & known for paintings of his home city of Birmingham. Through many sell out exhibitions & collections Reuben has constantly explored areas of his painting to capture atmosphere & mood. This archive of works, some from our own gallery collection, some from private collections that are now again offered for sale, shows the amazing talent & diversity of this artist.

How should women’s experience be depicted in art? Since the 1970s, the feminist art movement has blown apart traditional assumptions, rejecting the ‘male gaze’ of artists who presented women as objects. Our Andy Warhol collection also features two Lenin pieces from 1987. Black Lenin is signed by Andy Warhol himself, whilst Red Lenin is Estate Stamped as the artist sadly passed away before he was able to sign it.
